Animadores de televisión, la Cruz Roja, el Movilh y organizaciones de extranjeros se sumaron a este importante proceso nacional.

Las jornadas duraron cuatro horas y se realizan en diversos liceos y escuelas porteñas, las mismas que serán locales censales el 19 de abril.
En la región se necesitan 72 mil voluntarios y en el caso de Viña del Mar 12 mil personas, cifra que incluye a supervisores y personal de apoyo.
Faltan 40 días para el Censo 2017 y en Valparaíso se necesitan 6 mil censistas para poder encuestar en los cerros y el plan.
Tras el acuerdo, la casa de estudios se compromete a reclutar 900 voluntarios y pone a disposición sus tres Campus como locales censales.
La Comisión de Trabajo aprobó por unanimidad de sus integrantes la iniciativa.

Autoridad provincial César Barra, destacó la importancia de la participación ciudadana para el éxito de la iniciativa.
En la ocasión, las autoridades hicieron un llamado a la comunidad para que sea partícipe de este proceso.
El alcalde de Valparaíso junto a la director nacional del INE dieron el vamos al Precenso y llamaron a la ciudadanía a participar en el proceso con toda confianza.
